January 2013 Illustration Update

Here are some of the things I've been working on lately (click on images for a larger view):

First up are a couple of concept images for a series of mini-games I was brainstorming that would teach people about managing stress in the workplace.  Here is the home screen--the messy desk of a stressed-out employee:

If you clicked on an icon, such as the laptop, you would then be taken to a sub-page for that object which contained mini-games or other activities.  For instance, the laptop would have a series of videos that showed the warning signs of stress.  By watching the videos, you would replenish the low battery on the laptop:

I've also been experimenting with some other design styles.  Here's one that I quite enjoyed, very much based in Eastern European animation of the late 50's, early 60's (specifically, "Inspktor se vratio kuci" by Yugoslavian animator Vatroslav Mimica):
